Happy 940-th B-Day, my loving Minsk!

This week-end we celebrate 940 years since the first mention of Minsk in written sources (that was in 1067)!

My family and me will attend a lot of celebration avents. So I'm gonna post a lot of pics here. Hope you'd like to see how we celebrate and what our people look like when they celebrate such events

There was a very beautiful fair of amateur and folk arts and handmade crafts!

Neoguy, I'm Ukrainian for a half of my blood as well

Then 1/3 Russian and 1/6 Polish

Here we go. So I'm starting with this handycraft festival with a lot of interesting people from different regions of Belarus

There you can also see some folk bands from Moldovanm, Jewish, Greek and Polish diasporas + friends from Korea, Lithuania, Georgia and other countries... All people were extremely kind and enthusiastic. All fabric and materials for this handycrafts were only natural. We can also buy any of these hand-made items there...

P.S. Worth and dcarch should ask me to start with those cheerleaders which are still something exotic here in Belarus

There were huge fireworks, a fountain show with an illumination and music and several concerts in the evening...
