Default White Marrowfat Bean?

I've eaten these prepared from dry beans, and just love them. I want to try them in my garden this Fall/Winter as either a shelly or a dry bean - but honestly love fresh shellies. I think this might be a nice candidate.

Anyone with any experience with these that can help me figure out what sort of climate conditions they prefer? I generally start large fruited Tomatoes in September through January, green bean types winter and spring, Southern peas all Spring, Summer and Winter, Southern Greens late Fall/Winter. I'm guessing they would work with the same timing as my green bean types, similar needs and conditions?
