Won't the soap kill of the bacteria in the Lacto Bacillus formed from the milk? |

I agree with Beeman. Don't think I would mix the two. Treat for aphids wait a day or 2 and then do your Milk spray.

Milk Fish/Fertilizer spray is a fungicide, correct? My beautiful green garden is starting to have signs of what might be early blight. Will Milk Fish spray keep it at bay? I've been doing weekly sprays but perhaps I need to change horses?
James, I know you've also talked about Potassium Bicarbonate, correct?

Humidity is really kicking in now, isn't it? Milk has some fungicidal properties, primarily for Powdery mildews. I have found it to be fairly effective as a protectant, not so much as an eradicator. Meaning it has done a real good job keeping the plants "clean" of everything. Once something gets in you need to deal with it. I have been adding Actinovate to my Milk spray in lieu of the fish, and it has performed. PB - Also more for mold / mildew - commercial product is Greencure. I do like Serenade too although I have not sprayed it yet this year. |

I have heard mixed opinions about using Milk as a foliar spray. Some say it works, some say it does not work.
Can anyone tell me how they spray their plants with a milk spray and how often they spray before they saw results? I've read somewhere that in order for it to work, the milk foliar spray has to be applied really early in the morning. Is this true? |

Milk 1-10 with water acts as a preventative not an eradicator. Sprayed after rain, preferably when there is sunshine for the UV, to run off. Cleans the leaves of any residual fungus spores. This year, with the same sort of conditions as last year when I was inundated with grey mould, no sign of any fungus on a whole list of plants. Well worth the effort, and certainly cost effective. |

I see. So it acts almost like a lubricator so that mold spores won't attach to the plant.
That's really good to know. I'll definitely try it. |
