Default Fuego Verde and Cherry Roma

A new seed offer:

5 seeds of Fuego Verde, which is a unique green-when-ripe plum-shaped tomato.

20 seeds of Cherry Roma, which is a very sweet OP grape tomato (not ours, but we love it and would like others to try it)

For the first 30 people to respond by sending a PM with their address. We must limit this offer to 30 people, because we only send via bubble mailer and postage is $3.

Due high cost of shipping (even to Canada) this is, unfortunately, a US-only offer.

Note: If you need more than 5 seeds of Fuego Verde, we do now sell 4-packs of seeds at reduced cost.

Fred, I'd really like to take advantage of your 4-pack deal. How long is it on for?

I've searched your website for Cherry Roma, but I cannot find it. Do we just list it as one of the four?

Thanks,
Linda

4-pack deal is on forever. We are a small outfit, so we have to keep single pack prices high (since we use bubble envelopes and shipping alone is $3).

The 4-pack deal cuts the per-variety price to something more manageable for the customer, yet allows us to ship responsibly without most of the price of purchase going to shipping.

I will be adding Cherry Roma. Thanks for noting its absense. Yes. Just list it as one of the 4. Pack size for Cherry Roma will be 50.

Linda,

You bring up another challenge for us. The current price of shipping to Canada. It is almost $10, and this has caused us to discontinue sales to Canada through our website. We just don't have enough varieties on our site to justify the cost of shipping (for both us and our customers). We can't ship small orders and absorb the cost (we end up losing $$) and paying $10 for a few packets of seeds is not going to work for customers. I don't know what to do about this, but I can say that occasionally we work something out with Canadians via emails (or PMs) and paypal.

Fred, am I confused? I thought Bigly was the same thing as Orange Jazz.

Linda,
I live near the border and have a mailbox in Blaine for shipping stuff in a US address.
It's $2 USD per box with 1 month free storage which I use only occasionally when buying online, for items that don't have international shipping.
So maybe we can combine our orders from Fred, and get one shipment to my box? I will pick it up from the border whenever, within a month of its arrival. Then mail it to you later. Does that work? I assume it is okay to take tomato seeds across the border but I am not sure. I always paid for internationally shipping when I order seeds from US in the past.
What do you think? Any other Canadians? I probablely won't do it just for myself, but worth if it is for a few people.

Another option Canadian friends...I have a home in Canada and
will do a seed offer next trip before I travel. I have a couple
lidded crates in the guest room collecting odds and ends that
need to go up....including coin envelopes. I have many Artisan
varieties as well as Bakers Creek, Wild Boar Farms, etc. that I
have purchased the past couple years. Close to 200 varieties.

2018 season I may be gardening the full growing season in
Canada so some of you may have some good hearty cold season
crop ideas for a trade.

Just a thought.

Hi Fred
Is the Fuego Verde a dry tomato? I ask because I'm switching all my plants to drier paste or very meaty tomatoes, except for the cherries. Green would be great to have as a paste. Also interested in the cherry roma of course. I'm not ok without sending something back to you though. I saw the cost of postage for the last offer. Please pm an email I can send funds to through paypal. I would really prefer to not send cash through the post, but if you leave me no choice.......I may just have to do that.
