Default taking a chance with some early tomatoes

I planted out 24 Early Doll tomatoes that were trying to take over the greenhouse. I hardened them off last week. I am about 3 weeks early for my part of Oklahoma. We have rain and storms in the forecast, so keeping my fingers crossed. I can cover them if I have to and I have some extras just in case. The dwarf red peach tree is blooming and really pretty for this time of the year.

Never heard of that variety. Tell me about them!

And I wish that your skies are clear and your soil is warm my dude!

Thanks everyone for the kind words.

Camu....Early Doll is a determinate that produces a 4 to 5 ounce round tomato. As the name implies it is an early variety about 55 days and has pretty good flavor IMO for an early tomato.

I was curious about this myself.. so I googled it. Looks to be, at least kind of, similar to 4th of July.

Nice!!

Had a good friend out in OK City yesterday and said the wind was blowing so hard could barely keep the car on the road. Very blustery, but I see you have a fence - that mightuva helped....

Early Dol F1 is determinant or indeterminate? I read both data.

It is a determinate, and grows quite a bit larger than advertised. The last year I grew it was 2015 when my go to short determinate became Saraev 0-33.

2015 grow notes: Much bigger plant than described. Big, wide plant with lots of fruit. Better than Polbig, and no BER.
