Fruitset and DOING THE WEAVE

So instead of staking, I went with the Florida Weave. What do you think of it.

And in the next pic is my brandywine plant that I thought would not thrive in Louisiana.

And Finally one of my Mortgage Lifters.

I know it seems as if I am bragging but if I brag to my wife she just say "great" and is not as excited as I am. So I had to some to the place where everyone is just like me!!!!

jt, those are some good looking plants. some of my plants will have to grow like Carolyn's (sprawl), I waited too long to do otherwise.
My DH doesn't get excited either until he eats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is probally better if there is only one nut to a house, if everyone was like we are who would do the rest of the chores?

Looks great!

It's my first try with Florida Weave too. About the only difference I see in the photos is that I used steel fence posts.

Oops... I just realized that there may be one other difference.
How many plants do you have between the posts?
I limited mine to two plants per section/interval.

Yeah Mike I APPARENTLY don't read very well and put more than 2 plants between posts so I am just gonna have to weave extra and make sure my posts are in the ground atleast a foot or I might have trouble but it is too late to worry now. I will just keep watching and WEAVING!

I love to travel as much as a poor person is allowed. I have spent several vacations in LA. I am from Nacogdoches so of course I am familiar with your Natchitoches,Lake Pontchartrian,Metairie and around New Orleans area,fishing just out of Venice and my DH loves to go to Shreveport to enjoy one of his favorite sports,he usually goes with a friend but I do go sometime. I have been to Natchez Mississippi several times (love it too) and pass thru your area sometimes on the way there or back. Frogmore plantation in the southern part, myrtle plantation and the other wonderful historic places along the river road. Gosh I could go on forever but back to tomatoes.
