I planted the seeds you sent me on 2/15, got the first germination this weekend, 6-7 days later which was a nice surprise. Now 5 of 6 or so have popped out. Faster than other hots, only the long cayenne came out earlier.

The reason I thought of this is we ( me and my cousins) brewed 3 batches of beer 2 weekends ago, one called "Skull Splitter" around 6 or 7% alcohol content. A "quadruple Belgium" Barley Wine around 10%, and an orange honey mead ...
The honey mead was the easiest, 1 gallon glass bottles half full of the best water you can find, an orange cut into eighths, 25 raisins, 3#s of the best local honey you can find. And yeast which I got at a brew shop it I think it was like N47 or something like that. Plug the gallon jugs with a bung that accepts an air lock... Let ferment, secondary ferment then bottle with priming sugar (corn sugar)... Supposedly keeps for 10+ years.. Now I'm thinking of making a batch of mead with a few Carolina Reapers in it,
Probably be undrinkable, but you never know...

You could name the beer "Fear the Reaper."

I bet it would sell like hotcakes.
One of my brothers the youngest was an alcoholic bless his heart.

One Halloween I stopped by his house he was off the wagon and drinking vodka mixed with salt hot pepper and onion juice with jalapenos floating in it.

What's your brothers address, I'll send him a case to try out! Always need taste testers!

Brew it for about a year, then sell out to InBev/AnheiserBusch/Miller, then retire and grow tomatoes in Jamaica ! Sounds like a plan...

You could name it Hells Bells like the AC DC song.
Make sure it has a shotgun tab on the bottom too.
That version could be called The Devils Shotgun.

I'd try it, my stupidity has no limit when it comes to hot pepper anything. Also just was looking at the favorite local tomato/pepper plant nursery and they have their C.Reapers for 7.99 per plant!

Yep... pretty expensive plants and that is a normal price. Germination is +- 50% and they take a long time to get to salable size. I ordered a packet last year and there were 10 seeds in it. I ended up with 6 plants. It took from Jan until June to get a decent sized plant.

Guys I cannot express to you how good these super hots are in ice cream.
I have been doing it long before any celebrity chef has on TV.

Take about 1/4 to 1/2 of one per cup of ice cream or so.
Remove the seeds and chop it up as fine as you can get it something around 1/6 square or so.
Mix it in the Ice cream and let it freeze.
Then eat.
