Default Christmas Lima's with brown droplets

My Lima beans all have what look like little brown beetles all over the growing tips. When I go to grab them, it turns out that they are drops of liquid! Is this something peculiar to Lima beans or insect residue? This is my first time growing them.

Thanks,
Linda

I've grown them only once before and I never had that happen. What could it be? Can you post a pic?
