Default A different way to clone tomato plants

This is fairly old, but I didn't find it linked here at TV. Seems to have some merit to get faster results:

Yes, it is pretty old, specifically June 1, 2011.

And please note that below the video he said he got the idea from tomatoville.

So there you go.

This is just a variation on air layering, which has been used to propagate trees for ages. Really new ideas aren't likely to make their initial appearance on YouTube. ;-)

I love it I really do so the guy was really telling the truth when he said he got the idea from tomatoville.

I copied down his name and when I have time I'll check him out to see if he ever posted here.User name, real name,it might be hard to figure out.

Finally,it would appear to me that going through all of that would depend on whether a specific variety was an OP or an F1 hybrid.

I thought everyone knew who Bobby is, aka MHPgardener. His wife aka Imstillworkin has some good canning videos.

Yes, I thought so. I would also suspect that quite a few folks around here were not familiar with this. Think I'll try one or two as an experiment.
