I grew a few canary melons on a whim last year and I was very impressed. It was a hybrid called Amy. I saved seeds and now im growing more. Hopefully the F2 wont be a disappointment.
Also, a hybrid cantalope called Ambrosia is quite tasty. For watermelons, Crimson sweet is an old standby that does well. Ive tried some of the seedless types but i havent been very successful. Last edited by Stvrob; March 14, 2015 at 06:15 PM. |

Good list Mark! I would love to try Georgia Rattlesnake sometime, maybe next year. I may also be growing Zatta if I can find the extra space in my garden. Good luck with your melons!
