I'm not looking for a boost in my self esteem,, it's Ok where it is, whatever it is,but I'd also be glad to help replace seeds,so please list what you were trying to grow and I'll see how close I can come to that, which means not necessarily the exact variety but ones that are similar.

I also think that after the list is given here that any of us trying to help should also post in this thread what we might have so there are no duplications.

My mother had the most convenient mice ever. They got into a cabinet, found the D-Con mouse poison, and ate it.

This is such a wonderful group. Everything you all offer; knowledge, laughter, encouragement, empathy as well as sympathy, and generosity. Just amazing.

I just replanted a few tomatoes. The varieties that were completely destroyed I had extra seeds for. It looks as if I will have at least one of each of those that were not. With what’s left I should have plenty even for friends and family.

Pink princess was the only one that I used all of. I planted 36 varieties so that one can wait until next year.

Eggplants I had plenty of seeds, it ate all 9 seedlings. Replanted those..

The peppers were harder, many varieties were completely gone.

The only 3 that really hurt were from the mmmm swap as I only had a few seeds and planted all.
Canoncito landrace
Sigaretta di Bergamo
Dulce de España

The window of time is small for peppers, so I will get seeds to plant next year. There is time for that.

Trap is set, just checked and nothing. No sign of this stealth mouse.

Sleep may elude me tonight.

That’s the only kind of mouse we should ever have.

Mine only found my seedlings, not even the bird seed for my cockatiel which is in a ziplock. No droppings anywhere, so it may have just found it’s way in for a nice seedling salad.

Did you trap anything? as soon as it warmsup a tiny bit I am going to check to see if the feast of caramel interested whatever was in my house yesterday morning before I got out there. I hope all ten traps are full.

IT'S A MOUSE!!! EVERYONE WAS RIGHT!

I didn't catch it though, it just licked the peanut butter off the pedal. I thought it may have been stuck and almost lost a finger.

Tonight the peanut butter goes under the pedal.

I quit using p-nut butter when I discovered that mice are so light that they can lick it off. Now if I set a trap I use a small piece of Lebanon bologna and tie it onto to the trap with a string or even a piece of dental floss. When they bite and yank - goodbye mouse!

One of my cats are some pepper seedlings too. He wouldn't even touch the cat grass I have growing for him, little bugger!

Use caramel... or rolos. something they can't lick off. press it on hard. wrap it around the lever. it will draw ants if you hav ants though. they cleaned off almost EVERY trap I sat last night. I did get the mouse though. dead! called the neighbor and asked if her snake needed a meal.

I use Lebanon bologna because it has a strong smell. How about a piece of salami or any other lunch meat? You can buy just one slice at the deli counter.

I put a bit of raisin jammed hard onto the pedal spikes. Then a thin layer of peanut butter. Seldom do they escape it.
