Default Gracious gift from a Tomatovillan

guruofgardens very graciously shared some of her peppers with me the other day, even tho I didn't have anything to trade at the time. In a 'small world' moment, I found out that her husband and I are in different offices of the same employer. She was so kind to make it out like I was helping her, but I know a great garden pressie when I see one!

She brought me 1 each of Peppadew, Jimmy Nardello, Scotch Bonnet (whew!), Sweet Crunch, Lipstick, and Poblano peppers in a nifty bucket:

Which I took home on the bus:

Thank you!

HWA

What a fantastic gift to receive. Some really nice looking peppers too. I hope you made it home safely with them. I would have been afraid of everybody seeing them and begging for you to share. : )

I really enjoy Lipstick. Nice looking pepper and not too, too sweet either.

Good luck with your peppers. Hope they do well for you.

"She was so kind to make it out like I was helping her, but I know a great garden pressie when I see one!"

HWA was truly helping me out. As many of you know, grow light space is sometimes at a premium, so I appreciate HWA taking a few peppers to make space for a few tomato plants that are so slow this year.

I just hope she likes the different peppers! I snuck a hott'er' one in just in case she wanted to share a few of them with her co-workers.
