Czech OP tomatoes- my project 2014-2016

I wonder how many Titan tomatoes out there. I am pretty sure my tomato Titan is round det red which reportedly valued for taste... hmm

Yes the taste was very good and sweet. They are listed as a det.: but keep in mind of Hawaii growing zone as all year long. It has finally stop producing slowly. So it acted as a simi-det for me.

Among the tomato is not a oddity that one tomato has several names. It is therefore not surprising that one name is used for more tomatoes. I only write about the commercial tomato Titan of Czech firm SEMO.
PS.: I tasted those three varieties now (after two weeks), and their flavor is much better. I'll taste even for another ten days. But I is will not to grow

Here I send pictures remaining five Czech determinate varieties which I grew this year. Only two varieties tasted me fresh- Olomoucké nízké (Olomovic) and Imun (Czech's Bush), the others are intended rather for processing on paste and puree.
I am very glad that I am here on Tomatoville found the seeds of some of the oldest Czech varieties (Olomovic and Czech's Bush) .These I will grow in coming years.

Yeah, one has to remember that many European smaller varieties will be intended for canning and as such have different requirement, sometimes it is not how it taste on a bush but how it taste as whole canned matter.

Mid-late variety with yellow lemon-shaped fruits, regular leaf, fruits are medium large on branched clusters, fruit weight is 65 – 75 g, taste is sweet, Moravoseed (2010)

mid-early variety for growing in greenhouses, plastic covers and in the field, indeterminante with regulaqr leaves, fruit is very big, slightly pepper-shaped, weight reaches 200 g, fruits are fleshy, in maturity have high content of dry matter, slices of fruits are suitable for grilling, to sandwiches or hamburgers. The fruits are very similar to San Marzano Gigante (used for crossbreeding?). Moravoseed

During these two years, I grew up 44 kinds of Czech tomatoes. I wanted to know how they taste as fertile as they will prosper for me. I also wanted to introduce members Tomatoville with commercial tomato Czech companies Moravoseed and Semo. I'm adding a few pictures of varieties not yet listed. I've really enjoyed this thread, your wonderful pictures, and your reviews of the tomatoes and which ones you liked best.
Some great tomatoes have come from Czech republic! I think I will always have at least one Czech tomato in my greenhouse every year.
We also enjoyed Datlo very much this year, it was very productive and tasty, and will probably grow at my friend's farm next season as well.

Vladimir, I hope you can work with Tania to add your lovely photos and your descriptions and comments about the varieties you have trialed to her Tomatobase. It would be great to have info on all these varieties included there.

Yes, the tomato Prague long yellow resembles the shape of the San Marzano 3. Its flesh is also similar. But it's a very small rajče- 25-30 g and fertility of this variety is not high. I guess it is not right to tomato pastes.

now Tania is very busy with the seed saving and harvest and she can´t add new varieties to the database. I tried to add it by myself, but I didn´t find way how to do it.
Now I'm going to prepare images and descriptions and I will put them into tomatobase later.

I love eating Czech cherry tomatoes. In this order: Goldkrone, Datlo, Bibi, Valdo. In 2016 I add to them for me new cherry tomatoes Mandat F1 and Odat (which I tasted in Moravoseed). I hope that I will have nice plants as well as Moravoseed. Of the other I'll grow only Sungold F1, Tomatoberry F1 and Philovita F1.
