Brian, ok, one bunch of garlic reserved. Too, if you'd like to start a green garlic bed we'll dig up several clumps and you can start a bed with them.

I recently made some simple chicken noodle soup with green garlic. I small diced a carrot, half a celery stalk, and a stalk of green garlic and sauted ingredients in oil left from 3 chicken breast tenders sauted in butter and oliver oil until just cooked. To the veggies I added 4 cups water and to taste [Watkins Chicken Soup and Gravey Base]. Then bring liquid to a boil and add one cup egg noodles. Cook until noodles are done then add chicken, small diced. Adding black pepper is fine, but with the chicken base only a bit if any salt is needed. This is an under 30 minute recipe.

I am SO confused!

I thought my son had Baseball practice early Saturday morning, then off we go to CHOPTAG in the afternoon.

My son has his first game Saturday at 2 p.m.!

Well, DH will be taking son and whomever else wants to go to the game. I will be coming to CHOPTAG with the baked beans, a cake (hopefully) and whomever wants to come with mom.

So the head count just went down, tho' I'm not sure by exactly how much yet.

Lisa, no problem. That's just life. Looking forward to meeting you and whoever joins you. After seeing all the pictures, I"m sure whoever doesn't come will wish they had. :-)
