These make great fried greens! This is what I was looking for! Oh, yes Dotson's Lebanese Heart will be returning!
Also, as an update, there has not been a frost here yet, although it's getting colder. DLH still has several tomatoes, and the plant is looking mighty healthy, not succumbing to disease. It's the top large-tomato producer in my garden this year. I can't imagine how it would do in a good year! Thanks for sending me this one, Darin! Nan |

Hi Nan- I'm glad it grew well for you up in PA! Perhaps I should have left a few of mine in the ground. Thank you for growing it out, and I hope it does as well for all that grow it.
I don't think I'll have any trouble locating Post Office Spoonful seeds....I only harvested about 1000 tomatoes from that little monster Darin |

Well, alas, I'll have to wait for Spring to grow DLH again, but I'm happy that Marsha is growing it down in beautiful Florida, and my good friend Samir will be growing numerous examples in his garden outside of Beirut. My wife, who paints on canvas, slates, or any other surface thought it would be nice to paint a DLH based on pictures that I gave her from this summer's growout. I honestly cannot think of a better Christmas present that this, I hope you like it too

Darin, that's beautiful! And she captured the graceful/gangly nature of the leaves & vines.
I still have two green DLH fruits in storage. The plant has a garden spot reserved for next spring. Only 4 months till sowing... Nan |

What a beautiful design! You are one lucky guy to have such a special artist in the family. I couldn't think of a more appropriate gift! Happy Thanksgiving!
