Nan, I'm not sure if the UPS has a dump truck to deliver all those seeds.

I grow everything in containers, mostly rather big ones. And I live on top of a hill, so much water has never been a problem. Watering everything is a problem for me, my bad back does not like it... |

I have a few cucumber seeds waiting for packaging. I don't know the variety names. I grew 6 different varieties and this is by far the most productive that I have ever grown. It was't even in full sun. It is a pickling variety with black spines. The vine grew to the top of my serviceberry tree and is still trying to produce in this crazy weather.. - Lisa |

Nan, you've got me beat! My final tally is 590 packets; going out this week.
It doesn't seem that many people are using the Google doc wishlist yet. Of the varieties listed there and the ones I noticed in earlier posts in this thread, I'm sending: ISPL, Livingston's Honor Bright (a.k.a. Lutescent), Jaune Flamme, Maglia Rosa, and Silvery Fir Tree. Glacier, too, although I'm not sure if it's still wanted... I wish I could have done the Nifty Fifty, but since I bag/tag blossoms (bees!) I seldom get more than 30 or so packets per variety. |

One of the varieties I have ready to be mailed are from 2003 and is Alston's Everlasting. They germinated fine for me in 2015. There are also some seeds from Livingston's - 3 different varieties. (The seeds are not from the mid-1800s, but that's how long those varieties have been around.) |

If you have two (rare) varieties, with ~25 packs each, I'll likely combine them into somewhat entering the NF. |

Cool! See what you think; my package is going out next week... In addition to Green Mustang (30 packets), which I mentioned above, I'm sending in two early 20th-century pink varieties that aren't well-known anymore, but both are really good. There are 38 packets of one, and 20 packets of the other. Thanks, Gary, for feeding our addictions! |

I just mailed a 8.5 x 11" Bubble mailer stuffed with 9.70 Oz. tomato seed bags for $4.45. Some ask about mailing cost, so I'm sharing. Tormato, the receipt says you'll be getting the mailer on Tuesday the 9th.
I just thought about it - some participants avoid this thread, so I'll post the above on the other MMMM thread. Last edited by AlittleSalt; October 4, 2018 at 03:07 PM. |
