Not good for water torture.

Good for calibrated, controlled, adjustable wateringing and fertilizing of plants:
Hang a piece of rope under the drip cab and you can water a wider area.

Use a micro drill bit or use a hot pin to make a tiny hole in the cap only, not the bottle. by turning the cap, you can get the water to drip at varying speeds.

The bottom of the bottle is cut open for refilling of water.

Very cool. Who would have guessed that the hole goes
in the side of the cap without actually seeing it in the
picture?

Not really. I adjust the cab/calibration based on how wet the soil gets.

You were so right Tom!

Dcarch,
I'm surprised you didn't pick MacGyver as a screen name!

I am debating which is better, Rube Goldberg or MacGyver.
