Default Fertilizer for Container Watermelons

Does anyone know a good slow release fertilizer for watermelons? I've heard good things about osmocote for tomatoes but I imagine melons would have different requirements

I'm growing Moon and Stars in large containers again this year and would like to do it right

I was investigating the same info, as my container watermelons weren't up to par this past fall.

Decent link:

Hmm, i have never heard of the 34-0-0 treatment before, it makes sense though. I may just try some of the Urban Farms water soluble stuff. Thanks for the link
