Default Emergency Ketchup!!!!!!!

Emergency Ketchup!!!!!!!
Best ever.
You can do this with your home grown tomato sauce too.

I am out of ketchup but I had a big can of regular tomato sauce.
I opened the can of sauce and put it in a kettle with onion powder garlic powder some sugar vinegar clove a wee bit of citric acid paprika and started simmering it.

Once it was simmered a bit I put it in the trusty blender and again be careful it will erupt so it needs to be vented.
Once the mix was running I slowly put in about 1/4 teaspoon or so of xanthan gum.
Back in the kettle for a we bit more simmering.
Came out nice and thick and tasty.
I now have ketchup that cost me less than half as much as ketchup and it wont separate.
The product is bright dark red the pictures are washed out.
This stuff is better than my mom ever made and hers was good.
Now I really have a mess to clean up.
