Great list Spatz.... i don't think you'll miss the odd no-show.
Looking forward to hearing how it unfolds for you this year. Cosi, Anna Russian is a spindly one... I think I once said it must have been AWOL when they were dishing out the foliage rations. But fused leaves do sound different. Have a great night looking at the red moon and playing tomato werewolf. Last edited by Grub; August 28, 2007 at 06:23 AM. |

Hmmmmm..maybe I'll give them a bit longer. The family coming round to dance on the moon turned into a neighbourhood BYO sausage and mash party. Since I have the flu everyone else gets to do the cooking and I get to be silly outside in the cold.........yeah. Why do I have these dumb ideas.

I'm checking it out now... certainly red but darker than I imagined.
Glad to hear you're on the mend. I can hear it in your voice. Anna Russian is definitely spindly, but I have a few in this year that I believe are supposed to make it look like a rainforest. Go the red moon. |

(the machine itself is entering it's third summer now and still producing!) i'll be growing out 'stumpy' for the cross hemi research project as well as a few happy f3s. just waiting now for some seeds in the mail and hope to add to the list then. Nie one Tess,
I like Green Zebra... it appears to be one of those love-hate tommys. Spatz, Your avatar looks great. Is it a Tasmanian Blushing Yellow? |

I'm very bad at describing what things taste like. They are either nice, not so nice or superb. You get the drift?
I think Tasmanian Blushing Yellow is an extremely tasty tomato. Would be good to hear others' description. Maybe at the end of this season? |

I'd say it's meaty and juicy. Just a nice ratio of meat and juice.
When cut open it has this great reddish blush. Unfortunately, this picture is not that great. Hope you can still get an idea of what its like cut open |

I really like it too. Zippy, bold, juicy, flavorful. Fairly productive, will definitely grow again.

Hi,
Been away and came back to trays of tomato alfalfa... long stringy things... I think I can turn them around... I think I'm in Zone 9, coastal, no frost, the very best for mater growing. |
