Default Waverex Peas

I just cooked the last of my Waverex peas for this season and they were so, so good! I served them with some orzo pasta and some crispy prosciutto with shaved parmesan. This was my first year with this variety and I am in LOVE! I will definitely grow this one again, except more next time and I hope to have enough to freeze. They are the little petit pois peas and they're tedious to shell but worth it IMO. We don't have much luck with fall peas here but I'll be out there the first of March sowing these again. Good stuff!

They sound good. Where did you get them from? I haven't come across that variety before and we grow a lot of peas.

They're not easy to find and none of my regular seed sources carry them, but I got these at Vermont Bean Seed Co. They sell some of the beans I grow so I was able to put an order together. This company is part of the Jung's/Totally Tomatoes group.
