Default Dragons Tongue Beans

In the spirit of trying all heirlooms this year I thought id give these a try. I found them at SeedSavers.com . An unusual looking wax bean, white/green/and white with red stripes.

The plants are similar to a Blue Lake bush beans, and so far very prolific.

Anyway I picked a batch tonight , snapped them, cut up a Texas super sweet onion, added some baco s : ( I used all the bacon in blts )
added a little real butter, and cooked them up. Heavenly
Excellent flavor and texture. I will be growing this one again next year!

If you haven't grown these before, I recommend you give them a try.
