Default Earthbox AWS Pressure Regulator Question

I just hooked up my EB rig in preparation for planting some peppers. The AWS pressure regulator seems to be dripping water out of the center hole. I wouldn't say that it's a fast drip, but steady. When I turn on and off the water to the AWS, a little squirt of water shoots out of it.

I don't remember this from last year, so I'm not sure if my pressure regulator bit the dust, or if this is just normal for the first few hours after starting the system. I didn't experiment with adjusting the water from the spigot to the pressure regulator, so the solution might be as simple as dialing back the input pressure from the source.

Have any of you experienced this with the pressure regulator? Thanks!

Default Was

I had my AWS pressure go bad and was set to go away for a month and didn't have time to order another one. So I went to the hardware store and got an hose in line one (20 psi). It took a bunch of connectors to make it work but it has now lasted a couple of years vs the less then a year with the other one. Plus now I can just go down to the hardware store and get a new one.
