Most take three years to reach full size. First year they make a round second year a small bulb third year can be a full sized bulb.

Wow that is gorgeous! It makes my 75 plants look like a speck of dust compared to that!

Aw, Henry, those are so awesome. What a pelt. And such a beautiful place.
I love your web pages btw. Found by google that first year I found bulbils on the scapes and didn't know what the heck! Thanks for all the experience you share.
