NICE. What's the plan for the harvest? Is there more still in the garden?

That would make a really good desktop background picture.

Thirty plants...twenty-five still producing. What does not make it to BLTs will be at the local Post Office to give away.

Hi PaulF, I see you are having fun picking this week too. I've been picking 3 grocery bags every few days. Unbelievable at this time of year for us in Nebraska. My blacks have lots of concentric cracking same as yours. Taste is slightly less than mid summer but I've been picking at less than peak ripeness to avoid bug damage. Wish I had grown lots of Brandywines with the heat and sun that we had this summer!

Please give me the address of your post office; heading your way now should take me a few days.

Main Street (two blocks long so you can't miss it) Brownville, Nebraska. Just look in the dictionary for "beyond the back end of nowhere", most do miss it. All Tomatovillians are welcome any time.

Obviously you couldn't label all of the fruits on the table but I'm curious to know if any of them were the variety Black Krim, aka Noire de Crimee.

I should be so lucky to have a yield such as yours shown on the table, but it wasn't and isn't to be for me this season, sadly.

Black Krim is not one I seem to be able to grow well enough for success. This year's theme of blacks and hearts led me to ten or twelve new to me blacks...many of them only found on Tania's site(drat)
