Lid or no lid
Hi I'm new here. I just started my seedlings today in the jiffy seed starter green house and a warming mat. This is the first year I've started seeds like this and wanted to know if I should leave the lid on or off?
Also do I use the grow light yet or wait until they sprout? |

Leave the lid on to preserve humidity till one or two sprout, then they need the lights with the lid off. Put them as close to light as possible. one or two inches away is best.

Ditto, lid off as soon as they sprout or you'll probably get fungus incubating.
