Default Onion maggot prevention

I covered my onion seedlings with a light row cover that I planted back at the end of March. Some are getting to big for the row covers..While I was weeding, I saw a onion maggot fly on an onion seedling.. What is the best way to prevent damage/products to use etc? TIA

Organic method I don't know but Sevin dust will prevent or kill them.
