Delectation of Tomatoes
Very interesting entry about methods of seed germination tests. This man is a wealth of knowledge. https://delectationoftomatoes.wordpress.com

Yep, that was interesting! For some reason, I never thought of conducting germination tests without soil. Doh!
I've been tempted to order from DOT before. Reading his blog makes it all the more likely I will someday.

I'm not so sure about the link to Word Press, but I've known Dale Thurber for many many years and have sent him seeds for many varieties over the years.
He was originally from the upper Midwest but moved to Utah quite a few years ago for several reasons. Perhaps I wasn't paying attention and I mention that since he is listed in the Seed and Plant source forum here at Tville with outstanding praise. Carolyn

Not sure if DOT has a thread over in the vendors forum, but I'll put a plug in here for him: superb customer service, very personable, and of course a fantastic selection! If you're on the fence, I recommend.

I agree with the praises for DOT. I just received a seed order and not only was it a fast ship, but the labeling of his seed envelopes is terrific. (Plus top-rated freebies were in my bag! Woo-hoo!)

I liked his description of his labeling practices.
