Default Rapunzel Hybrid Cherry Tomato

Our grandkids just love to come to Grandpas GH to pick cherry tomatoes all summer long. They talk about it all year long. It is so fun to watch the little ones pick their very own tomatoes and then eat them right on the spot - that we decided to try Rapunzel this year and make it even more interesting for them - we hope. We saw the photos on Tomato Growers Supply and hope we can duplicate long trusses full of cherry tomatoes for them.

We started Rapunzel from seed and moved the seedling to our GH on February 13th. They started sending out trusses early on with lots of blossoms and the trusses continue to grow in length.

I went out to check on the GH today and "Wow" I'm impressed. Rapunzel is a Fairy Tale - yellow blossoms everywhere!! If they all set fruit this is going to be a very prolific variety!! Rapunzel sits between Super Sweet 100 and Sweet 100 - she's putting them both to shame at the moment! I am excited to compare all three this season!

Very beautiful. The great question of course will be the flavor. Hopefully it'll taste as good as it looks.
