thanks Imp and Starlight. Yes, we are okay and thankful. It could have been worse, now it is a lot of work to clean up and take care of the rebuilding of it and man oh man! where to start and where to put what needs stored until the shop is rebuilt. Anybody need a Summer volunteer job? Hopefully it will be warmer then. Tonight... not so warm tonight.. 19 is the low for tonight.

Thanks, I would still rather have the freeze than this. Now the basement stinks from the equipment manuals we are trying to dry out. yuck. Those are valuable.

If you have an osculating fan it can help dry out your manuals. The wind blowing back and forth will blow the pages back and forth and help dry them out and keep them from sticking together.

How did all you Northern folks make out?

Ugh what a horrible experience. So thankful and amazing that there were no injuries. I had a fire in my apartment over 30 years ago and I can still remember walking in and seeing everything dingy and black when I was allowed back to see it. All I had left was the clothes I was wearing. If you have the luxury of time, take a deep breath and set your sights on a great new space.
