The number of fruit set in a BRANDYWINE OTV!!! AND it is in a CONTAINER. I am unsure if it has to do with planting early. I have never had a Brandywine produce that many fruit. 2 factors I planted this Brandywine in December and it is on the North side of the greenhouse and I used Dynamite Fertilizer with some additional Miracle Grow. Last year I tried to go all organic in my Containers and I just could not keep up with watering and fertilizing. YIPPPPPEEEEEEEE I still have more time (wringing my hands) for more fruit!!!!! I could recount all day but alas Vacation Bible School awaits...(3-4 year old teacher)
For some of you in the cooler zones it is hard to get a Brandywine type to fruit in the heat and humidity of Georgia. HAPPY DAY DOIN THE HAPPY DANCE!!!

Did you say Georgia? On the North side of the greenhouse, right? It's not but two hours from B'ham to Atlanta in the dark of night....

Jennifer, a fellow southern gardener, whose all time max production from a Brandywine was exactly 1 fruit
