More Brandywine Black, Cherokee Chocolate, Cherokee Purple, Sara, and other tomatoes.
Cherokee Chocolate has being very productive and taste great too. But, it is not as good as Rosella Purple.

Ella, That pink and white glad is probably the most beautiful glad I've ever seen.
Very nice tomatoes, too! You've had a great harvest! What'd you think of the
taste of the Marlowe Charleston?

Your tomatoes look great! Love the Cherokees here too, first year growing the chocolates. But have been raising the purples for years. Having better luck with Bull's Hearts, than Brads Black Hearts. My main question is, how do you like those Brandywine Blacks? they look good

Thanks, all.

Delerium, it is what you do with your garden that makes us go WOW. I am yet to get uninfected mushroom mycelium. Going third time.

Darlene, Marlowe Charleston last year was good and beautiful too. I have not tasted one this year. Promise to post the taste results once I do.

Mad, Brandywine Blacks are great tomatoes but as any black tomatoes they loves 85-95 temperatures. We are having weird summer with relatively lower temps. The taste is not as sweet. My new favorite is from the Dwarf project: Rosella Purple. I have it in a small container, 5 gallons only.

Beth, nice size tomato. How does it taste? The othe day I used Grandma Viney’s Y. & P 19.3 onces and JD's Special C-Tex 14.6 onces along with one big cucumber to make a whole ball of salad. Who is to say 2 tomatoes and 1 cucumber is not enough to make a salad for the whole family?
Happy gardening

Peg’s Round Orange is no longer there, was pulled July 29. The green tomatoes turned beautiful yellow and still have some interesting taste. I am given them GO next year again.

Crnkovic Yugoslavian sliced.
Taste without salt not sweet, sour a bit.
With salt it explodes in your mouth. Would be great on a sandwich.

Picked last 35.2 ounces of Brad's Black Heart. The plant is dying. Gave me a total of 160.9 ounces. That is more than 10 pounds from one plant.

Spider Mites on my cucumber leafs.
You can see tiny web with dots in a middle.
I hate Spider Mites. How do you get rid of them? I spray water on my tomatoes to knock them down, deceases invitation. Gray mold is on cucumbers. My organic spray (soda, soap, epsom salt on tomatoes, soda and buttermilk on cucumbers) does very little to help. I feels like I am fighting a losing battle...
