I got 100 (thereabouts) Black Princes in a 15 gallon container. (unfortunately could not stand them)
I never worry about the type of tomato plant that goes into my containers--I put whatever I want. However the larger the container the bigger the yield. I only do one plant per pot to maximize yield. I think I will put a Big Zac into a 15 gal. container just to see what sort of numbers I will get. Honu is right though--if you put something in that will get big you have to thoroughly support it and prevent it from falling over.
