Default How is the high cost of gas impacting your farm?

I was having a discussion with a local farmer in my community. She sells tomato plants as well as actual produce during the season. She told me that the impact of the high cost of gas will definitely drive up the cost of food. She told me that it now costs her farm 300 dollars to fill up a tractor. How has the high cost of gas impacted your farm?

Tractor fuel is not a real big deal for small acreage market growers. I use a small compact tractor (20 hp) which does a lot of work on a gallon of diesel - and we don't pay road taxes on it.
