Got My Soil

Well I have my soil for my beds now. I have a question, Do you put it in Level or mound it to allow for shrinkage, They are calling for rain on Sat. Thanks in advance, Beale.

What did you get?
Anything is going to settle it all depends on what it is as to how much it will shrink.

I got the 1/2 top-spoil and 1/2 Compost . Spent $200.00 One bed is done. To be honest I am worried about not having enough dirt, Beale.

Oh my Tomatoes will be here Middle of next week. Cash flow is very low! The trailer I had blew both tires! My dad is paying me back for those. It was a Long Monday!Beale.

Sounds like you're on a roll with your garden. Don't plant yet - even when the tomatoes arrive. Let them get acclimated to your weather for a week or so, and get them hardened off. You'll be happy you did it.

One year we lost all of our tomatoes by one stupid mistake - hardening them off in the hot sun for only 1 day. Those were the days . . . . We had to buy plants and only could afford to buy 6. Good luck with yours.
