I don't think the medium make any difference about germination.
You can germinate in paper, in the air (sealed bottle, .. ) It is the temperature that does it. JMO

Nan, when I see that boxed X - it usually means that the picture is too large. My wife's new camera takes pictures about mural size. I have to resize the pictures down to 15%, and sometimes that is almost too big.

Robert , I have experienced problems with posting pictures here few times.
In my case they were shown after I posted. But few days later they just had the image name ( as I gave them in my computer )

I have noticed that a lot of people have problems with posting pictures here.
Except for the very few times I use my wife's Sony camera, I use an old Nintendo DS. I have never had to resize a picture taken with it. |

I can't post photos from my phone, but if I take a screen shot of a photo on my phone, I can post that.

I planted seeds in three different media. The circled plants in the pic are all the same variety, all came up within a few days of one another. The ones in the middle did not come up first. It'll be Miracle Grow from now on. first four rows on left: no-name soil that was very woody. Next two rows: Miracle Gro potting soil Next two rows: Light Warrior seed starter mix with microrrhizae.
