I never noticed that, but you just might be right! See that's one of the best things about finishing a cross and putting it out for trial, people notice things that you wouldn't. Thanks for pointing that out

One thing I have noticed- the potato leaves of KP are the smoothest and flattest leaves I've seen. They look nothing like the crumpled, asymmetric leaves of say, a pink Brandywine or Rebel Yell. It's just a pretty plant, no doubt about it. I'll post a pic of a KP leaf against a Brandywine for comparison tonight.

Here is an example of one of the larger Karma Pink leaves vs. a Pink Brandywine leaf. Much smoother leaf morphology all around, less jagged edges, and a smoother surface. Fruit are now setting, bottom truss = 8

Darin, your plant looks beautiful. I am partial to those big smooth leaves myself. I can spot a KARMA from a distance, if you showed me that pic without telling, I would know it’s one of ours
Same with my Weird PL hearts. Twisty droopy odd looking

Yes! It definitely looks "smoother" than any other PL I've grown. I could pick this one out in field for sure. It has recovered nicely from the "dragon breath" glyphosate a few weeks ago

Wrong with me photographing individual plants. Tomatoes are too close to each other.

Thank you for your he photo Vladimir! I still can hardly believe I am seeing our tomato growing in such faraway places as your garden. It looks wonderful

Here are the 2 plants I put in a 75 gallon stock tank outside.
36 days from sowing seed.

I'll get a pic of the one that is in a 5 gallon grow bag in my high tunnel tonight.
Flower buds on the first truss are set, but not open yet. Probably this weekend we'll see some yellow.

Beautiful!! Looks just like mine.

Marsha/Karen- I shared KP plants with at least 3 or 4 other coworkers previously. Two of them asked me: "is the Karma Pink plant supposed to have big, droopy, showy leaves"?? I said, yep! It really is a beautiful plant. I would not underestimate the value of aesthetics with these plants. Folks that take pride in pruning/tending to these plants, whether in a pot or in a row, do want nice looking plants. Of course, flavor is the end goal- and I expect these not to disappoint!

My KARMA pink plant had a visit from Bambi last night. Bambi had been patiently waiting to read AKmark' spin on management of the variety. It appears Bambi lost his patience and took matters into his own mouth. Very happy I hadn't pruned away the lower laterals just yet. Ph---ing deer.
