Update: Today is tomato transplants plant-out day. April 15. The Sunsugar tomato plants that made this thread possible both filled the 3x4" containers with healthy roots. They look wonderful.

Great work, as you keep some soil on the roots there will be no period of rest -sometimes a week. They'll resume their growth immediately.

I treat twin tomato plants like Siamese twins.. can't separate them or they die.

When I see a double plant in a pot, I prefer to buy that one. Buy one, get one free.
