Default Best pictures from 2015

I saw this today and was reminded of the rare snow we had here in Mississippi last February. I've mentioned the old family farm here at T'ville several times in the past, and here is a picture of one of my tomato fields -- 1,000 empty concrete wire cages in the snow. I left this field out last year and only planted 6-8 plants at the house in town.

Maybe if would be fun to see some of the other best pics of 2015 from our T'ville friends as we approach January 1, 2016.

My plants got so big, the birds mistook them for trees:

Adorable... by season's end are they big enough to leave the nest?

Is anything cuter than that sweet, innocent kind of befuddled expression that baby birds have?

I got this pic of a moose mother and her little one in my garden, October. I just love the expression on the little guy's face. Not as cute in the closeup, eating some little tree of mine.

We had some warm and very windy weather in October, and out in the garden I found quite a few of these Red Admirals had turned out. It was so windy, they had to seek shelter and so for once I actually got a well focused picture of a butterfly.

Eastern Bluebirds (male and female) eating frozen crab-apples back in February.... it was a very brutal winter - not sure if they survived the cold:

This image isn't from 2015, but some of the longer-term members here will remember a few years ago when we had that guy in Botswana who sent us some floating tomato seeds. Those were some of my favorite tomatoes, but we can't find the guy now and I didn't save seed.
