Glad you liked them. Most folks get exactly what you have shown from my seed.

In my garden they are quite prolific and for some reason I get them on average 12 oz and up to 1 lb. (Might be the manure I use and all the rain we get.)

They are a family favorite and this year I have filled many many orders from the SSE yearbook.

The chef here at work can't get enough of them.

Here's what we had at Tomatopalooza[tm] V.

This one has been pumping out the fruit like crazy. It's been my most productive
variety this year.

It was very productive for me too, but lacked the advertised flavor. I think that our short and cool summer of 2007 may have negatively affected the flavor. .

Tania,

I am so upset that your conditions didn't bring out Maiden's Kiss best.

As all of you who got seed direct from me know, I received it a few years ago from a rancher located in the Sandhill's of Nebraska. I grew up in Nebraska and know the area well.

I live in the Greater Houston Area now and report it's performed very well in our the heat and humidity. I will continue to maintain my offering in the SSE Yearbook as it has become my most requested offering.

I work at Shell Oil's Woodcreek facility and the chef here takes all I can produce and some of his staff now grow there own.

Tania give it another try in a location that receives the most sun, it can take it.

I certianly will! The bad summer we had this year did affect the flavor of quite a few varieties (although some varieties did manage to retain the flavor quite nicely). We never have hot or himid summers here in PNW, and perhaps Maiden's Kiss is best adapted for these conditions. (?)

Michael, I'm pretty sure it was you who sent me seeds for Maiden's Kiss perhaps this past Spring or earlier.

I haven't been able to work it in now that I can only have maybe 14 plants, but someone sent me a couple of fruits of it this past summer and I really liked it.

So depending on how many new ones might show up that re must grows, perhaps it will be on my list for this next summer.

Folks,

I am looking for good Maiden's Kiss pictures for T-base wiki (http://t-garden.homeip.net/mwiki/ind...aiden%27s_Kiss), as I failed to photograph ripe fruit this summer.

Please PM me if you don't mind to share your wonderful pictures.

Earl Cadenhead has a very good representative photo. Ask him for it.

I will be taking a photo this spring and will send it to you.
