Default Garlic Sticks - do they work?

Does anyone know if the garlic sticks actually work to prevent rabbits and deer? I lost 10 heads of speckled romaine lettuce and my 3 parsley plants. Something ate them down to the ground. Does anyone have any other success using organic products to deter these invaders?

I don't know what garlic sticks are, but I use Liquid Fence spray and Repels-All granules, applied once a week, alternating between the two. I apply more often if it rains a lot. They're expensive products, and fairly smelly, but they do work when applied regularly. I've also had success planting onion sets around the beds at 6-inch intervals, but onions don't grow well alongside certain plants like peas. (I've sometimes wondered if granulated garlic would work as a repellent -- Repels-All looks and smells like it -- but haven't tried it. I'd need restaurant-supply quantities; lots of critters here!)

I have never heard of garlic sticks either. I would have replied earlier if I had seen your thread. The best things are a fence and a border collie.
