Well if you are in town Sunday maybe we can go out to eat some place around Austin.
My treat.
I may very well have to work tomorrow in Manor.
My project went to crap today.
I knew it would and warned them, long story.

I wish you all to be safe and sail through it. .
Last year, for the first time I experienced hurricane. That was hurricane Mathew.
My place was flooded over 10" for days. The worst happened when the Lumber River over flew its bank and more water came from the river than 17" of rain. There was no destruction from the winds.
We were lucky that it was not a life threatening situation. We were out of power and water for about two weeks.
Just make every efforts to be safe.

Thanks for the offer Worth. I don't know yet what the plans are. I guess it depends on what my city posts regarding the storm damage.

Lord I pray that all the residents are evacuated in this place, and especially just to the north.

Yeah, me too. My 72 year old friend and her husband were leaving on Tuesday for a trip to Bracketville and I called her at 6:30 am when it was on the news we were having a tropical storm headed our way. I told her to pack all essentials and batten down the hatches. I told her I didn't think she would be coming home on Friday. I am so glad they are not at home in Rockport. Her area floods from heavy rain.

I just heard the upgrade to Cat 4 on the news, and staggering amount of rain expected. Stay safe you all. Hope you don't even lose internet.

I was looking at the radar on my phone and it showed tornado debris in Rockport along the leading edge of the eye.

Rock, my only internet access is with my phone and I am sorry, I don't know how to post a link. I am truly sorry. I just looked again and it no longer showed a tornado nor tornado debris.

Rockporter, KXAN has very good interactive radar that can get you down to street level in real time. Just keep pressing the + to zoom in an hold the left mouse key down while dragging to keep your street centered on the map. It is the same map service that one of my local tv news stations have.

Please let it be that you will find your street in good condition.

Rockporter, if you need to come further north, you and yours would be welcome here. Its a big house ( and plenty enough wacko here) but there are two big rooms upstairs that are not really being used now. Animals can be accommodated too.

Not much of an offer, but it is a roof and safe as anyplace is.
