Again, no taste yet.
Black Beauty, looks pure black where sun hits it. I am hoping this is a good tasting antho fruit. Unreal production, large boat shaped fruit, pink blush, RL, indet.

Orange Jazz, looks beautiful, can't wait to try it. Very high production, RL , good disease resistance, this one is an 8 oz fruit. Thank you Darlene for both the above seeds, you are so generous.

Lavender Lake are the next 3, smallish plant but really loading up. RL indet. Perfect looking fruit, medium sized.

Arbuznyi, I have already eaten 3 of these, scrumptious! 9.3/10. The Plant still has about 20 fruit on it, the season isn't even half way. Plant height about 4 feet, bushy indet. RL. This photo and the one between OJ and LL.

Well.... it was perfect when we got all the wonderful fruit set, but now it is fluctuating between too hot and just cool enough, but only for 2 days at a time. Miami had a record heat day yesterday, 87F!

You are kidding. Below zero here. It was 70's a couple of weeks ago. Talk about wild fluctuations. Can't wait to be Florida bound, again.

Love this thread - very inspiring and a great enabler! Am very interested in your take on Orange Jazz once you taste it. It is #1 on my 2017 wish List! I love orange tomatoes and will be curious how it compares to KBX (my favorite orange), Orange Minsk and Sweet Ozark Orange (my next two orange favorites). You seem to be getting awesome production thus far! Everything looks so tasty. We are freezing up here at the moment so envy your warmth!

Marsha, what variety of calcium nitrate are you using? Any particular favorite?

Time for more- still haven't done any tasting, but I will post when I can. I am seed saving like mad because they often go soft so fast. Most of these aren't 100% ripe ,but at least 1 in the group is.
Big Cheef- spelling is correct, this is a purple beefsteak, very productive, fairly early for such a large fruit. Second year in a row growing these. Tasted so good last tear, very sweet and meaty. Indet, PL.

Bear Creek, over 30 have formed of these purple 3 ounce little gems. Very perfect and delicious. RL, indet.

Olive Hill, another pink PL beefsteak with superb taste. Very large, not as productive as others this year. I don't care, it's flavor is to die for.

Cherokee Lime- very productive green when ripe with a slight blush at the blossom end. Sweet and delicious, this one is my third year growing. RL, indet but stays kinda bushy not too tall.

Cherokee Purple- this year it's out doing itself! The production is over the roof and of course we all know how delicious it is. 6 year growing it in a row.

Kiss the sky - this is an OP version of Purple Haze which was stabilized by Tanya. It is regular leaf and indeterminate and grows very vigorously the vine is already eight feet tall.

Sailor's Luck- these 3 ounce each clusters of 4-6 fruit are gorgeous. Metallic bronze and green. Jason Haynes was the breeder. PL indet.

Daniels- not tasted yet. I grew this because it is a parent of Daniel Burson, which I love. PL, indet.

McMurray #10- I tasted it this morning, very sweet and I really liked it. It is in the extreme range in production, the fruit has had quite a bit of rotting, due to its ridgesand grooves in my humid climate. PL indet. Stabilized by the late Dan McMurray.

Aunt Ruby's German Green- very large 10-14 oz GWR sweet complex beefsteak, excellent flavor. It used to be my favorite GWR but it has been edged out by Cherokee Lime. Indet vigorous growing vines, RL.

Prue- small egg/paste 1.5 oz fruit, abundant producer. Maybe that excellent flavor everyone talks about will come later. I do see some with the weird shapes that are still green. Flavor was Meh! RL, indet but compact.

Limbaugh's Legacy Potato Top, this is a wonderful plant. I had just a few PL seeds left over, so I grew it out for seed production, and now I remember how good it is. Indet PL.

Texwine- very bushy with lots of suckers very large abundant red fruit, ribbed. Strong hearty taste
Balanced on the more acid side, but really pleasant. This is my 2nd year growing it.RL, indet.

Not Chocolate Stripes- I am saying not, because I grew it last year, and it had PL, suppose to be RL. It produced so many fruit, and they were sweet and complex and I just had to grow it again. You can see that it is super productive, look at all I harvested for the photo, plus look at the plant photo of it taken today after the harvest and you can see why I highly recommend it. Whatever it is, is completely stable, and I plan to grow it every year. PL indet

Rebel Alliance F4- a multiflora producing mahogany brown heart shaped ribbed cherry fruit. I think if may be stable, if the breeder gives the go ahead, I will share seeds. Zluta Kytuce is one of it's parents.
RL, indet.

Margaret Curtain- 3rd year in a row growing this. I just love it's very sweet complex taste.this year it is strong and a great producer of 8oz beefsteaks purple in color. RL, indet.

Solar Flare- gorgeous stripes, very disease tolerant, abundant fruit, red flesh. Thus is my 2ND year growing it. RL, indet.

I just saw this. Currently using Southern Ag brand of Calcium Nitrate, but I prefer the one I got from Kelp4less.com because the granules were snaller.
