Striata d'Italia is the zucchini that never quits! I've harvested them right into October up here in the northeast!

Great pictures -- keep them coming!

Thank's, Father'sDaughter!
It is going gangbusters for me right now. I have three lovely plants, so I have daily pickings. I have not been able to grow zucchini's very well over the last few years. Never had a problem before. Will definitely keep growing this one. It has great flavor also..

Homemade Cream Puff's w/ Custard Filling.. I have wonderful memories of my mother making these cream puffs for us kid's when we were growing up. It was one of my favorite desserts. I passed down the tradition, and made them as a special treat for my children as they were growing up. I still make them from time to time, and use the same recipe my mother used. My mother would drizzle a homemade chocolate syrup on top of the cream puff. So delish! I start by making the pastry shell..Let cool..Cook a homemade custard filling. Let cool. Cut the top off the pastry shell and hollow out the inside dough. Dip both the shell and top in powdered sugar..Fill with the custard, add some homemade whipped cream, replace the top. Drizzle w/chocolate if desired.. Enjoy!

Chinese Celery.. (Kunn Choi) Blooming and going to seed. I will collect the seed to use as a spice. I will grind some of it to use in a blend for my hubby's sausage he loves. Chinese Celery is a LOT stronger in flavor than regular celery. When picked fresh the stalks have a strong, slightly bitter taste. I tasted it out in the garden one day, and had to spit it out..lol. When cooked, it looses some of that bitterness. I like it in stir fry's..
