Well, I think I'm done. But I know how that goes, if I need to take a trip to the nursery I'd better wear blinders.

Here's what's going on in the ground:

It's been a very cool month (May was colder than January in SF this year!) and they're all showing a bit of wear because of it. All will be fine once the temps come up.

Nice list.

I've never heard of Florentino Tuztan and seeing that you're growing 3 of them I wondered about it. Hot or sweet?

This is the first year I've grown it. It's a hot from Oaxaca and is described as a very productive small plant with yellow peppers turning purple at maturity. I like to grow something new every year and thought this would be a colorful addition to the yard.

Sure enough. I went to the nursery to replace a tomato I am losing to fusarium and came home with a tomato and two more peppers.

Add another Vietnamese Black Dragon and a Shish*to to the potted pepper list.

Here's a few shots I took this afternoon. The close up of the peppers is out of focus. When they start ripening I'll get some better pics of the peppers.

I have wondered about the Fish Pepper. I saw it in a catalog many years ago. I have to look for that one again. Thanks for the info

Some more pepper pictures.

Chilicostle peppers. An annuum from the Oaxaca area of Mexico. I'd like to make some rellenos and maybe some enchilada sauce with these.

Fatalii peppers, a chinense from Africa. I'll be pickling these and making hot sauce.

Ghost pepper (Bhut Jolokia) A chinense from Assam India. I'll use these like the Fatalii peppers.

Aji de la Tierra. A baccatum from South America. Pickling and fresh.

Congo Trinidad. A chinense from Trinidad. Fresh eating, pickling and salsa.

Wow all these massive chili plants are making mine look small. I think I'm going to overwinter this year so I can get a head start for next year.

None of these were over-wintered, but I plan on doing it.
