Anthocyanin Tomatoes: naturally resistant to bugs?

I have roughly 160 plants in my high tunnel. About 15 different varieties.
Unfortunately, I am fighting aphids on all of them...except BLack Beauty.
Not one aphid on it. It is in a middle row in the middle of the row it's in, so it is surrounded by plants with aphids.
Could the anthocyanin be the reason? Is this an already known feature that is new to just me?

I wouldn't think it would have anything to do with anthocyanin, but it may be Black Beauty has a genetic resistance to aphids. There is such a thing.

That is amazing. I had no idea. This may be the One case where I'd be ok with GMO's. Spread that gene into my favorite plants please.
