Default Potting up Tiny Tim Tomatoes

I'm growing a Tiny Tim tomato for each of the kids and am wondering about how to pot up these plants.

Because of their small size, can they be potted up into their final containers when the first true set of leaves appear, or should they be potted up into progressively larger containers as other tomatoes are?

I'm planning on using 8 inch pots for each plant (because that's all I have), but right now, all 5 plants are in a 4 inch round pot, and have now developed their first true set of leaves.

What does everyone here usually do with these toms?
Thanks
E.

I don't have Tiny Tim. I only planted Florida Petite.

Once they sprouted and had the first set of leaves, I transplanted them to larger pots (one quart +-)
They are doing fine.

With micro tom varieties, I think if you want to go ahead and do the first (and final) transplant into the final container, that would be just fine.

I've done it both ways.

Thanks very much for the replies. Into the 8 inchers they go.

These take slightly smaller pots that Tiny Tims but here are five Micro-Toms and five Florida Petits started on Jan 23rd and transplanted to 4" pots on Feb 11th. No sign of problems. Gave them a little window sunlight today as you can see in the picture but have them under lights most of the time.
