I’m glad you grew them. I found quite a bit of variance in flavour. Sent you the best one,
I hope it continued.

Those plants are beautiful. What variety of salvia have you sprouted?

I meant the sprouts on the back right side of the photo. They resemble salvia. Now there are over 250 varieties of salvia. Only 1 of them is used for "medicinal purposes" and that is divinorum. I grow many New World salvia because they are very attractive to hummingbirds. They are nectar rich plants.

Now after all of the fuss, I have taken a closer look at the suspected sprouts and think that they are something else. Perhaps a cole crop.

Your plants look great tryno!
Lovely foliage. I see you have 2 in a few pots/red cups. You might regret that
eventually...just have a plan to either separate or cull. I did the same thing and
now a couple weeks later I need to either clip one or separate soon.

*no need to apologize. It is clearly basil. We all get confused now and again. Sometimes
we zip through 'recent postings' without paying attention to the header/topic,
'multiflora dwarf'.

Keep posting pics. I'm enjoying watching the progress. I'll update as well,

Thanks Oakley, I thought that was the case about 2 in each Solo Cup, but I am trying to grow them out for another month then separate? In a month or so I will be starting my regular outside crop so am trying to plan(very funny - plan)
I did not start these micro dwarfs soon enough - I wanted to have them to grow in the winter here but just did'nt get things lined up in time - oh well, there is next winter.

I guess I will grow these inside then outside in a couple months and see how they do - then I will know what I can grow in the winter inside in a south window.

Where and when do you grow yours? I am planning on using 1 gallon hanging planter pots?

Thanks
Pete

If I am having trouble separating two tightly interwoven plants, I soak the rootball in a tub of water for 10mins or so. They usually ease apart nicely then. Good luck!
