After Fred confirmed these Artisan seeds are the "real deal" I placed an order for all the varieties that UF carry. I was treated professionally, ended up with a lower overall cost than if ordering from competitors, and I received a good seed count. Noah - thank you, and best of luck.

Johnny's had a great sampler package on Freds Artisian varieties earlier in the year, I think I posted about it somewhere on T'Ville. I can't recall the specifics but I remember thinking it was great for the home gardener who did not require large amounts of seed.

I didn't confirm that they were the "real deal", because I did not grow out seeds from UF. I just confirmed that they have removed the claim that they are F1-hybrids from the descriptions of the varieties. However, they are still listed in the F1-hybrid section.

I give up.
