I just bought my very first jar of Duke's about a month ago, it's hard to find here but an IGA in Frenchburg had some. I couldn't wait to get home and give it a try. I wasn't disappointed, it was very rich and satisfying, I even used it on the first BLT of the season! But, now as the season progresses I find myself, Hellmanns, reaching for the Hellmann's once again..

Hmmm, I was raised on Hellmann's and have yet to find any other locally available brand I like as much. I was going to order some Duke's from Amazon to see what all the fuss was about, but after seeing this, I think I'll stick with the Hellmann's I already have on hand.

Now I just need a ripe, sandwich worthy tomato.

Okay it's not a blt, but i needed a break. how about some salsa fresca made with a 1 pound Berkeley Tie Dye and a couple of Indigo Apples. I only ended up using 2 of the Serranos and it's plenty spicy for me.

. . . in a magazine as a Pabst advertisement.
It's worthy, but are folks who make designer BLTs a PBR demographic?

It's not beer; it's a [Kentucky] soft drink people are crazy over around here. Ale8 probably sells 2-to-1 over Coke and Pepsi in this area.
Coke-a-Coal-Uh.

Pabst has been around so long it's like an heirloom in the beer world.

A full blood card carrying Apache friend of mine turned me on to the stuff years ago in the Marines.
It was on tap at the club.
I never did see that guy drunk one time.
